Description

OYSTER MINNOW 92 (オイスターミノー92) is a 92mm, 11.8g suspending minnow tuned from the Laydown Minnow Mid bass jerkbait specifically for seabass (シーバス). Its slightly thick body gives strong buoyancy, and a low centre-of-gravity fixed weight drives a crisp, rolling action that grips the water without being overly flashy.

A casting fin on the underside of the lip offsets the casting-distance penalty of the fixed weight, combining high buoyancy with distance. On the jerk it darts sharply side to side; on the pause it rolls gently to trigger bites. Set to suspend, it's built for the brackish water typical of harbours and river mouths.

How to work it

Jerk it sharply to make the bait dart side to side, then pause and let it roll gently in place to trigger a following fish; set it to suspend so it holds in the strike zone through the pause rather than floating away.
