Description

The Metal Dragon is a realistic vertical jig built to imitate a tachiuo (beltfish/hairtail), sometimes nicknamed "mecha-tachiuo" for how closely it mimics the real bait. Its ultra-thin, sharp-edged body darts sideways under light rod work and falls horizontally to draw strikes, and it is aimed at the tachiuo pattern from autumn into winter, including buri (amberjack) that are themselves feeding on tachiuo.

This 250g size comes in the #46 Mirror Silver colourway. Major Craft notes that the slim-profile body is prone to bending in use, and recommends straightening it by hand to keep the intended action. It is part of a size range that also includes 200g and 300g.
