Description

The Maki Jig Micro is the light-game version of Major Craft's Maki Jig range, aimed at rockfish such as kasago and mebaru as well as small pelagic species like aji and saba. A dedicated micro blade is fitted with a vertical eye so the hook and blade stay aligned through the cast, and the jig's fall stays level thanks to its stable body shape, keeping the blade working and drawing bites even when fish are finicky.

This 15g size comes in the #29 Pink Sardine (Kimura UV) colourway. Cast and retrieve suits small pelagic fish, while a lift-and-fall worked along the bottom is recommended for rockfish, making it a simple "wind and it fishes" jig for light tackle sessions from the pier.
