The Jigpara Micro 15g is the largest size in Major Craft's super light game metal jig range, built for an ultra-light jerk and near-instant hook-up on contact. Its wide-bodied shape gives a slower, more natural fall than the Jigpara Micro Slim, and a five-layer multi-layer coating protects the finish against chipping and peeling. This listing covers six colourways: Zebra Glow, Kaimura Shirasu, Green Gold, Pink Glow, Red Gold Zebra and #003 Red Gold.

Major Craft's smallest dedicated metal jigs, built for an ultra-light jerk and a near-instant hook-up on contact. The wide-bodied profile gives a slower, more natural flutter on the fall than the slimmer Jigpara Micro Slim, and a five-layer coating resists chipping.

When to throw it

A super-light-game jig for aji, mebaru, young Spanish mackerel, mackerel, juvenile trevally, barracuda, tachiuo, seabass and other rockfish species, fished from shore, jetties and harbour walls wherever light tackle and small profiles are needed.

How to work it

Fish it with short, sharp twitches of an ultralight rod and let it flutter back down on a slack fall, watching the line for the take. The 3g and 5g sizes carry a single rear treble tuned for movement-focused action; work it slowly through likely holding water.

The setup it likes

Matches a light or ultralight spinning rod (L to UL), a 1000-2500 reel, PE 0.2-0.6 braid and a 2-6 lb fluorocarbon leader, sizing up slightly for the 15g jig.
