Description

The First Jig Tachiuo is a rear-weighted metal jig built specifically for tachiuo (beltfish) jigging, ready to fish straight out of the packet with Gekisas-branded assist hooks already rigged front and rear. The Gekisas hooks are Japanese-made with a fluorine coating for exceptional penetration, so even short bites are converted into solid hook-ups, and a shrink-tubed swivel setup is used to cut down on line twist.

The rear-biased weighting keeps unwanted movement to a minimum and gives a fast sink rate, so the jig reaches the strike zone quickly whether it is worked with a straight swim retrieve or a one-pitch jerk-and-fall action. This 200g size is finished in colour #007 Zebra Glow.
