Description
SHIOU is a centre-balance, semi-long pilot jig designed by jigging angler Makoto Ono to help anglers quickly identify which lift-and-drop action is drawing bites before switching to a more specialised jig. The centre-weighted shape lets anglers execute deliberate jerks and falls without the jig fighting their intended action, making it a reliable pattern-finder across a range of offshore jigging situations.
The name SHIOU references an archaic character for yellowtail, a character used in the Edo-period Japanese encyclopedia Wakan Sansai Zue to classify a fish described with features resembling a yellowtail.
This 220g version measures 174mm. Finishes include long-lasting blue glow and chart-keimura options. This listing stocks the zebra-keimura colourways shown above.

How long does delivery take?
10 to 20 business days on Standard (tracked) or Economy, or 3 to 7 business days on Express EMS with tracking and insurance. Every option is priced at checkout before you pay.
