Information

The blank

Re-tuned from the original 2015 combined ajing/mebaru model, the revised blank balances lightness and sensitivity, with an Extra Fast action and Fuji K-guide/Alconite frames for PE-line compatibility.

What it's built for

Dedicated ajing (horse mackerel) fishing around harbour night-lights and breakwaters - the XL model for close-range jig-head work, the UL model as the balanced standard for harbour and breakwater fishing extending to micro-plugs.

How it fishes

Work light jig heads (0.2-7g) on a slow, steady retrieve or gentle twitch under harbour lights, watching the tip for the light take typical of aji.

The setup it likes

Pairs with a 1000-1500 spinning reel, light PE braid (around PE0.2-0.3) and a 2-2.5lb fluorocarbon leader.

Straight answers

How is it priced?

We give you the cheapest available price, as we get it directly from the distributors. You pay what an angler in Japan pays, plus postage.

When does my order leave Japan?

Orders are packed in Japan and handed to Japan Post within 3 to 8 business days. You get a tracking number by email the moment it ships.

How long does delivery take?

Australia and the US: 7 to 14 business days on Standard or Economy, 2 to 7 on Express EMS. Europe and the UK: 10 to 20 business days, 3 to 7 on EMS. Every option is priced at checkout before you pay.

Will I be charged import duty or tax?

Australia: no duty on orders under A$1,000 and GST is already in the price. US: orders under US$800 clear duty-free. EU and UK: VAT is collected at checkout so nothing is due on delivery for standard orders.

Is it genuine stock?

Yes. Every item is genuine, sourced only through authorised distributors — never grey imports or marketplace resellers.
