All load smoothly with light jigheads while keeping enough feedback to feel subtle aji bites.

What it's built for

Suited to dedicated aji (Japanese horse mackerel) finesse sessions from harbours, breakwaters and jetties, where fish sit on light jigheads and lift-and-fall presentations at close to medium range.

How it fishes

Work jigheads on a slow countdown and gentle lift-fall retrieve, reading bites through the tip rather than by feel alone. The faster Amateras model suits a more direct, positive hookset.

The setup it likes

Pair with a 1000–2000 spinning reel loaded with PE 0.2–0.6 or 2–4 lb fluorocarbon direct, stepping up jighead weight and leader strength for the longer, higher-power models in the range.

How is it priced?

We give you the cheapest available price, as we get it directly from the distributors. You pay what an angler in Japan pays, plus postage.

When does my order leave Japan?

Orders are packed in Japan and handed to Japan Post within 3 to 5 business days. You get a tracking number by email the moment it ships.

How long does delivery take?

10 to 20 business days on Standard (tracked) or Economy, or 3 to 7 business days on Express EMS with tracking and insurance. Every option is priced at checkout before you pay.

Will I be charged import duty or tax?

VAT is collected at checkout, so there is nothing to pay on delivery for standard orders.

Is it genuine Japanese stock?

Yes. Every item is the Japanese domestic release with the original JAN barcode, sourced from an authorised Japanese distributor, never grey imports or marketplace resellers.
