Description

The Jackall Flag Trap 80g is a saltwater metal jig weighted slightly rearward of centre for a smooth, fluttering fall. Each jig carries an original silicone rubber "flag" tied in at the assist hook, which flutters during the fall and on jerks to draw extra attention to the hook point and help drive solid hook-ups.

Flat panels on the body add flash on the retrieve and a trickier action on the jerk stroke, and the jig is built for super light jigging (SLJ). It is available in ten officially listed colourways.

Information

The swimming action

A weight balance set slightly rearward gives a smooth, fluttering fall, and a silicone rubber flag tied at the hook waves during the drop and on jerks to draw extra attention to the hook point.

When to throw it

Built for super light jigging (SLJ) sessions around structure and mid-water, targeting a broad range of species across depths; Jackall also fishes it specifically for seabass around similar structure and current.

How to work it

Work it with a jerk-and-flutter retrieve or a straight lift-and-fall, letting the flat body panels flash and the flag tie wave on each pause; the trickier jerk-stroke action helps trigger reaction bites.

The setup it likes

A light-to-medium SLJ rod rated for this jig's weight, a 2500-3000 size reel, PE0.6-1 braid and a fluorocarbon leader suit this style of jigging and the broad range of species it targets.

Straight answers

How is it priced?

We give you the cheapest available price, as we get it directly from the distributors. You pay what an angler in Japan pays, plus postage.

When does my order leave Japan?

Orders are packed in Japan and handed to Japan Post within 3 to 8 business days. You get a tracking number by email the moment it ships.

How long does delivery take?

Australia and the US: 7 to 14 business days on Standard or Economy, 2 to 7 on Express EMS. Europe and the UK: 10 to 20 business days, 3 to 7 on EMS. Every option is priced at checkout before you pay.

Will I be charged import duty or tax?

Australia: no duty on orders under A$1,000 and GST is already in the price. US: orders under US$800 clear duty-free. EU and UK: VAT is collected at checkout so nothing is due on delivery for standard orders.

Is it genuine stock?

Yes. Every item is genuine, sourced only through authorised distributors — never grey imports or marketplace resellers.
