Description

Jackall's Anchovy Metal TYPE-III 130g is a sinking metal jig from the Tachiuo (beltfish) jigging and tenya line-up. A slim, cylindrical body looks consistent from every angle so it stays low-key in front of pressured fish, and its weight is printed in large numerals on the eye sticker for quick reading when swapping jig sizes on deck.

TYPE-III's action combines a calm, enticing lift with a livelier fall, giving it a finesse edge for fussy or short-striking Tachiuo that have stopped reacting to other jigs. At 130g it steps up the line-up's weight range for deeper water or stronger current.

Information

The swimming action

A slim, cylindrical body reads consistently from every angle, giving a calm, enticing lift on the retrieve and a livelier, more active fall, a finesse presentation compared with the rest of the Anchovy Metal range.

When to throw it

The tackle-box option for tough, pressured tachiuo (cutlassfish) that have stopped reacting to louder, flashier jigs, or for fussy, short-striking fish, best kept rigged and ready for when the bite goes quiet.

How to work it

Work it with a gentle, controlled lift and let the fall do the work; its finesse action rewards a slower, more deliberate retrieve than the TYPE-I or TYPE-II.

The setup it likes

Suits a boat jigging rod matched to the jig weight, a compact spinning or overhead reel loaded with PE1.5-3 braid, and a fluorocarbon leader of roughly 20-40 lb depending on jig weight and target size.

Straight answers

How is it priced?

We give you the cheapest available price, as we get it directly from the distributors. You pay what an angler in Japan pays, plus postage.

When does my order leave Japan?

Orders are packed in Japan and handed to Japan Post within 3 to 8 business days. You get a tracking number by email the moment it ships.

How long does delivery take?

Australia and the US: 7 to 14 business days on Standard or Economy, 2 to 7 on Express EMS. Europe and the UK: 10 to 20 business days, 3 to 7 on EMS. Every option is priced at checkout before you pay.

Will I be charged import duty or tax?

Australia: no duty on orders under A$1,000 and GST is already in the price. US: orders under US$800 clear duty-free. EU and UK: VAT is collected at checkout so nothing is due on delivery for standard orders.

Is it genuine stock?

Yes. Every item is genuine, sourced only through authorised distributors — never grey imports or marketplace resellers.
