The 23 ANCHOVY DRIVER EXTRO is Jackall's dedicated tachiuo (tachiuo, hairtail) jigging rod, built around the "EXTRO-T" blank construction: mid- to high-modulus carbon wound ultra-thick over an extremely thin mandrel. This delivers a slender rod with high stiffness and torque while keeping enough suppleness to avoid making the jig skip erratically, producing a natural action and transmitting subtle bites and current changes to the angler's hand.

The lineup spans three models: ADX-60UL (6'0", Ultra Light), ADX-66L (6'6", Light) and ADX-610ML (6'10", Medium Light), each in 2-piece grip-joint construction rated for PE #1.0-1.5 line.

The EXTRO-T construction winds mid-to-high-modulus carbon ultra-thick over a very thin mandrel, giving a slender, stiff, high-torque blank with enough suppleness to stop the jig skipping erratically.

Dedicated tachiuo (hairtail) jigging from a boat, with three power grades - UL, L and ML - to match jig weight and depth.

How it fishes

Produces a natural jig fall action while transmitting subtle bites and current changes to the angler's hand; fished on PE#1.0-1.5 line.
