Information

The swimming action

A pencil-and-minnow hybrid that dives like a fleeing baitfish before rising slowly back to the surface, tuned to an 80-degree floating posture with a fine vibration width that works even in tight pin-spot zones.

When to throw it

A surface-and-just-below lure for calling bass up in open water or tight cover, effective when fished dead-stick off wave or landing ripple as well as on an active retrieve.

How to work it

Twitch it down into a dive-and-rise cadence, or let it sit and work with the ripple alone; its shifting internal weights keep it working under very light tension and cast a long way.

The setup it likes

A 6'6"-7' M spinning or baitcast rod, 10-14lb fluorocarbon line, suits this topwater pencil-minnow for bass working open water or tight cover.
