Description

The SC15 is a saltwater fly hook from Gamakatsu, fly-fishing-tuned from the “Maru Seigo” hook style, with qualities Gamakatsu says were enough to sweep the saltwater fly markets from America to Australia — launched in Japan by popular demand from core anglers. Its straight shank secures ample tying space, making it easy to represent both shrimp and minnow patterns. It suits familiar targets like suzuki (Japanese seabass) and mebaru (Japanese rockfish), with scope for new possibilities in Japanese saltwater fly fishing. Forged construction.

Straight answers

How is it priced?

We give you the cheapest available price, as we get it directly from the distributors. You pay what an angler in Japan pays, plus postage.

When does my order leave Japan?

Orders are packed in Japan and handed to Japan Post within 3 to 8 business days. You get a tracking number by email the moment it ships.

How long does delivery take?

Australia and the US: 7 to 14 business days on Standard or Economy, 2 to 7 on Express EMS. Europe and the UK: 10 to 20 business days, 3 to 7 on EMS. Every option is priced at checkout before you pay.

Will I be charged import duty or tax?

Australia: no duty on orders under A$1,000 and GST is already in the price. US: orders under US$800 clear duty-free. EU and UK: VAT is collected at checkout so nothing is due on delivery for standard orders.

Is it genuine stock?

Yes. Every item is genuine, sourced only through authorised distributors — never grey imports or marketplace resellers.
