Description
The C12-3HBV(NSB) is a fly hook from Gamakatsu designed with managed trout fisheries as its main field. It adopts 3× heavy wire that stands up to large trout, and its vertical-eye design makes the hook easy to grip for a quick release. Applications range from standard patterns like pupa and larva imitations to the poodle pattern made famous by Gamakatsu's C14-BV. In loose-nymphing, it also shows hook-setting performance as good as bait fishing.
