A 9mm tungsten ball delivers extraordinary casting distance and a loud "one-knock" sound for covering wide stretches of water. The ball striking the body produces a resonant "kakoon-kakoon" knock that appeals to fish while helping beginners keep a steady rhythm on the retrieve.

When to throw it

Built from charter boat captain feedback for covering wide stretches of water, suiting both inshore seabass and offshore blue-water sessions. It suits the river-mouth, surf and harbour water typical of estuary seabass sessions, matching the same conditions Japanese anglers designed it for.

How to work it

A steady, rhythmic rod-and-reel dog-walk keeps the knock going on every beat, making the cadence easy for less experienced anglers to hold. Keep the rod tip low through the retrieve so the lure stays connected without extra slack building up on the pause.

The setup it likes

9'0 inch-9'6 inch MH seabass spinning rod, 4000-5000 reel, 2-3 PE braid, 30-40 lb fluorocarbon leader. This balances enough backbone to work the trebles on a long cast while keeping the tip soft enough to protect light hooks on the take.
