Information

The swimming action

A low-centre-of-gravity flat head, 0.4mm stainless steel blade, silicone rubber skirt and Decoy Egg Snap combine for a tight, high-pitch rolling and wobbling action, with the blade knocking against the head for a low-frequency thump you can feel through the rod.

When to throw it

A step up in weight from the lighter models, it is built to fish the 2-3.5m range for bass holding deeper down. It suits covering deeper cover efficiently before committing to a slower, more precise presentation on any fish that follow but do not commit.

How to work it

Wind it steadily on a straight retrieve and let the blade-on-head knock do the work; the Gamakatsu Oceanic Bend heavy wire hook and double wire trailer keeper hold a soft-plastic trailer securely through the retrieve.

The setup it likes

A medium-heavy to heavy casting rod around 7-7.25ft with a 7:1 baitcasting reel and 15-20lb fluorocarbon suits this heavier 3/4oz chatterbait, with enough backbone to set the hook through a soft-plastic trailer and heavy skirt.

Straight answers

How is it priced?

We give you the cheapest available price, as we get it directly from the distributors. You pay what an angler in Japan pays, plus postage.

Orders are packed in Japan and handed to Japan Post within 3 to 8 business days. You get a tracking number by email the moment it ships.

How long does delivery take?

Australia and the US: 7 to 14 business days on Standard or Economy, 2 to 7 on Express EMS. Europe and the UK: 10 to 20 business days, 3 to 7 on EMS. Every option is priced at checkout before you pay.

Will I be charged import duty or tax?

Australia: no duty on orders under A$1,000 and GST is already in the price. US: orders under US$800 clear duty-free. EU and UK: VAT is collected at checkout so nothing is due on delivery for standard orders.

Is it genuine stock?
