Information

The swimming action

The D-Zone TG runs on a resin tungsten head certified as FECO eco-tackle for tournament use. This double willow leaf set-up scatters hammered flash blades bent at different arcs front and rear so the narrow front blade and wider rear blade combine to imitate a single large baitfish, with a soldered ball locking the front blade against sliding on the cast.

When to throw it

Built for tournament conditions, it suits pressured fisheries and larger baitfish situations where a big, single-profile flash draws reaction strikes from quality bass. It performs well along points, grass edges and deeper cover.

How to work it

Retrieve it steadily to let the mismatched blades combine into one large flash, or slow-roll it along deeper structure. The specially curved light-wire arm delivers strong vibration while keeping hook-set percentages high.

The setup it likes

Evergreen recommend a medium-light to medium-heavy 6'6"-7'0" baitcasting rod with a 6.3:1-7.1:1 reel, running 8-16lb fluorocarbon or 10-20lb nylon line for this 1/2oz model.
