Description

The Evergreen D-Zone Fly TG 1/4oz DW combines the compact D-Zone Fly body with a double willow-leaf blade set (front #00, rear #0+) and a resin-tungsten head bearing Evergreen's FECO eco-tackle certification mark, making it legal for use in JB/NBC tournaments.

The double blades deliver strong flashing appeal for such a small bait, giving it the versatility to buzz across the surface or slow-roll it down deep. Evergreen recommends a light-to-medium 5'9"-6'6" rod (bait or spinning) with 6-12lb fluorocarbon or 8-14lb nylon line.

Information

The swimming action

The Fly TG combines the compact D-Zone Fly body with a resin-tungsten head carrying Evergreen's FECO eco-tackle certification. This double willow leaf version runs two blades for strong flashing appeal from such a small bait, giving it the versatility to buzz across the surface or slow-roll down deep.

When to throw it

Its small, tournament-legal profile suits small lakes and ponds with small baitfish, and it is a useful searching bait when fish are keying on smaller forage or when a subtler double-blade flash is needed.

How to work it

Buzz it just under the surface on a steady retrieve for a gurgling top action, or slow-roll it down through deeper water when fish are holding lower. Light tackle keeps the paired blades working consistently through the retrieve.

The setup it likes

Evergreen recommend a light-to-medium 5'9"-6'6" rod, either baitcasting or spinning, with a 2500-size spinning reel or compact baitcaster and 6-12lb fluorocarbon or 8-14lb nylon line.
