Description

The Evergreen Bow Worm 6 High Float is the 6.0 inch, non-salt High Float version of Toshifumi Kikumoto's Bow Worm straight worm, built from a different, buoyant material to the standard salted Bow Worm. Its reverse-rib body (ribs run one way ahead of the beltline and the other way behind it) is designed to grab water and generate micro-vibration on the fall, and the same design carries Evergreen's FECO eco-tackle certification.

Because the High Float material stands the tail up off the bottom, it is built for Texas rig and rubber jig trailer work where a buoyant, upright presentation is wanted, including unagi (eel) rig applications.

Information

The swimming action

The reverse-rib body — ribs running one way ahead of the beltline and the other way behind it — grabs water and generates micro-vibration on the fall. The High Float, non-salt material replaces the standard salted compound used in the regular 6in Bow Worm.

When to throw it

Suited to Texas rig and rubber jig trailer work, including unagi (eel) rig applications, where a buoyant, upright presentation is wanted rather than a bait that lies flat on the bottom.

How to work it

Fish it Texas-rigged or as a jig trailer and let it settle fully; the buoyant material stands the tail up off the bottom rather than lying flat, giving a different look to the standard-density version on the pause.

The setup it likes

A medium to medium-heavy baitcasting rod with 12-16lb fluorocarbon suits this all-round size. Rig on a 3/0-4/0 offset worm hook, adjusting weight so the buoyant tail can stand up properly.

Straight answers

How is it priced?

We give you the cheapest available price, as we get it directly from the distributors. You pay what an angler in Japan pays, plus postage.

When does my order leave Japan?

Orders are packed in Japan and handed to Japan Post within 3 to 8 business days. You get a tracking number by email the moment it ships.

How long does delivery take?

Australia and the US: 7 to 14 business days on Standard or Economy, 2 to 7 on Express EMS. Europe and the UK: 10 to 20 business days, 3 to 7 on EMS. Every option is priced at checkout before you pay.

Will I be charged import duty or tax?

Australia: no duty on orders under A$1,000 and GST is already in the price. US: orders under US$800 clear duty-free. EU and UK: VAT is collected at checkout so nothing is due on delivery for standard orders.

Is it genuine stock?

Yes. Every item is genuine, sourced only through authorised distributors — never grey imports or marketplace resellers.
