Description

The La Tour RATTL'N VIBE is Duel's revival of the original shimmy-fall lipless vibration bait: a lift-and-fall lure that wobbles as it sinks, drawing reaction bites from bass that ignore a straight retrieve or soft plastics, a technique proven on the US tournament trail. This listing stocks the 55mm/10.5g sinking size (55S), running on a #8 hook with #2 split rings.

A super-rattle sound chamber (9 rattles in the 55mm size) adds intense vibration to call fish from a wide area, while stable swimming performance holds up across all retrieve speeds. The finish uses Duel's scratch- and impact-resistant Power Coat, and the lure carries a high-strength centre-balance hook built to convert short bites. Casting distance is rated to around 45m, working the full depth range.

Information

The swimming action

The La Tour Rattl'n Vibe is a lipless vibration bait built as a lift-and-fall lure that wobbles as it sinks. A nine-rattle sound chamber adds intense vibration to call fish from a wide area, with stable swimming performance across all retrieve speeds.

When to throw it

Suited to drawing reaction bites from bass that are ignoring a straight retrieve or soft plastics, a lift-and-fall technique proven on the US tournament trail. It suits both clear-water finesse sessions and stained-water searching, since the profile reads naturally at a range of retrieve speeds.

How to work it

Lift it with the rod tip and let it fall on semi-slack line, feeling for the shimmy-fall wobble and rattle; most bites come on the drop rather than the lift. Watch the line on the fall as well as during the retrieve, since many bites come as the bait is settling rather than moving.

The setup it likes

Suits a 6'6"-7' M spinning or baitcast rod, a 2500 reel or low-profile baitcaster, and 10-14 lb fluorocarbon main line. Choose a rod with enough backbone to set the hook at range but a forgiving tip to avoid pulling hooks on a short strike.
