BREADEN Metalmaru 28g Single

The Metalmaru swims with a tight, high-frequency wobble driven by its rear Colorado blade, producing continuous flash and vibration through the retrieve. The body sits head-down and stays stable at speed, with the blade adding extra thump on the pause. This 28g model keeps that same balanced, castable action scaled to its size.

Best fished around river mouths, jetties, bridge pylons and current seams where seabass, bream and flathead hold. It reads well in coloured water where vibration and flash carry further than a subtle plug, and it covers the middle and lower water column when fish are feeding through a current or tide change.

Work it on a straight, steady retrieve to keep the blade ticking over, slowing through likely holding water. A lift-and-fall retrieve along the bottom also works well for flathead and resting bream, with most strikes coming as the blade restarts on the lift or as the lure settles on the fall.

Pairs with a 7–7'6" ML–M spinning rod, a 2500–3000 size reel and 8–10 lb braid or PE 0.8–1.2, stepped down to a 16–20 lb fluorocarbon leader. The 28g model suits casting distance and bottom contact appropriate to that weight.
