The Abu Garcia XROSS FIELD (クロスフィールド) is a multi-species series built to cross across fish species, fishing fields, and fishing styles with a single rod. This listing covers the compact Mobile (MB) travel models: XSFS-755L-MB (ajing, mebaru/rockfish, area trout, kurodai/black seabream, boat and sabiki fishing), XSFC-645ML-MB (bass, light rockfish, kurodai/black seabream, boat and sabiki fishing), and XSFC-745M-MB (rockfish, bass, seabass, boat and sabiki fishing).

MB models ship with a dedicated semi-hard travel case and use Fuji Top SiC and Fuji New Concept guides, Abu Garcia's X-carbon tape wrapping (diagonal 45°/135° wraps for added torque and twist resistance), and an EVA grip with an X-pattern rubber overlay.

These compact Mobile (MB) travel models use Fuji Top SiC and New Concept guides with X-carbon tape wrapping, giving a light, sensitive feel suited to detecting the light bites typical of ajing, mebaru and boat sabiki fishing. The overall feel matches its stated build, giving confidence it will perform consistently across a full day on the water.

How it fishes

Work light jigheads and small lures with a slow, twitchy retrieve for rockfish and ajing, or a steadier wind for bass and seabass, adjusting technique to whichever species is in front of you that day.
