Conolon（コノロン）is Abu Garcia's "classic taste x modern technology" series, reviving the nostalgic Conolon name. This listing covers the two spinning models: the CNLS-474UL, a 4-piece rod designed mainly for stream and headwater fishing with light plugs and small spoons in a green blank matched to the Cardinal 33 reel, and the CNLS-535L, a 5-piece rod designed mainly for stream and headwater fishing with heavy sinking minnows and spoons in a beige blank matched to the Cardinal 3 reel.

Both use Fuji SiC ring guides on a stainless frame (Fuji KR guide concept) and a natural-wood original gang grip.

Pair with a small 1000-2000 spinning reel in the spirit of the Cardinal 33 or Cardinal 3 the rods were designed around, 2-4lb fluorocarbon main line, and a short, fine fluorocarbon leader for clear, low native-trout stream water.
