Description

The VARIVAS Tippet [Nylon] is a new-standard nylon tippet for fly fishing from VARIVAS's Standard series. The nylon material resists kinking and curling, and its stretch absorbs the shock of the strike to help prevent break-offs.

Three core qualities: high strength for confidently handling large fish, high durability that holds its initial performance, and a supple, easy-to-handle feel for trouble-free use. The natural colour blends into the water for high transparency against wary fish, making it well suited to fly anglers from entry level through intermediate.

Available in 3X (6lb / 0.205mm), 4X (4lb / 0.165mm), 5X (3lb / 0.148mm), 6X (2.5lb / 0.128mm) and 7X (2lb / 0.104mm), each on a 30m spool.

Straight answers

How is it priced?

We give you the cheapest available price, as we get it directly from the distributors. You pay what an angler in Japan pays, plus postage.

When does my order leave Japan?

Orders are packed in Japan and handed to Japan Post within 3 to 8 business days. You get a tracking number by email the moment it ships.

How long does delivery take?

Australia and the US: 7 to 14 business days on Standard or Economy, 2 to 7 on Express EMS. Europe and the UK: 10 to 20 business days, 3 to 7 on EMS. Every option is priced at checkout before you pay.

Will I be charged import duty or tax?

Australia: no duty on orders under A$1,000 and GST is already in the price. US: orders under US$800 clear duty-free. EU and UK: VAT is collected at checkout so nothing is due on delivery for standard orders.

Is it genuine stock?

Yes. Every item is genuine, sourced only through authorised distributors — never grey imports or marketplace resellers.
