Description

The Finesse Leader is Tiemco's tapered leader for fine-tippet fly fishing on Japan's mountain streams, built with a thinner butt diameter and a steeper taper than Tiemco's standard leader for reduced drag and improved turnover. It is made from nylon in dark brown and is offered in 8ft and 11ft lengths across 3X-6X tippet sizes; this listing is the 8ft 6X leader.

Anglers can extend the tippet by around 3-4ft for a short-leader system in tight, overgrown streams, or add 5-7.5ft for a longer system that lets slack form in the tippet for a more natural drift and secure hook-ups in open water.
