The Taper and Shape Japan trout V GJTVC-54LLLT (ジャパントラウトV) is a 2-piece, 5ft.4in bait-casting rod on a 100% pure fiberglass blank, rated LLL-T power. It is the lineup's powerful model for larger rivers such as main streams, handling heavyweight sinking minnows with control for large mainstream yamame or rainbow trout, while the flexibility of its pure-glass blank still suits lightweight lures for smaller tributary streams.

Lure weight 1.8-6.8g, line 2-5lb (PE 0.3-0.6号), rod weight 92g, pack length 837mm. Fitted with Fuji T2 polished dark-gray titanium-frame SiC-S K-guides, a gloss-black aluminum reel seat with natural zebra wood, and a cork grip.
