Description

The Tackle House Tai Jig Slim TJS60 is a slow-fall metal jig for sea bream (tai) and other saltwater targets, designed as an alternative to tai-rubber jigging rigs. At 82mm and 60g, it falls straight down with a fluttering roll, producing vertical, horizontal and diagonal swimming action on the drop.

It fishes well on a simple straight retrieve or with active jigging strokes, and can be worked by casting with bottom contact, counting down to a target depth, or varying retrieve speed. Hooks are sold separately.

This listing stocks 5 of the maker's colourways: NO.3 Iwashi (Sardine), NO.4 Orange Gold, NO.5 Pink Silver Glow Berry, NO.6 Blue Pink and NO.8 Pink Full Glow.

Information

The swimming action

A slow-fall jig that drops straight down with a fluttering roll, producing vertical, horizontal and diagonal swimming action on the drop rather than a simple straight fall.

When to throw it

An alternative to tai-rubber rigs for sea bream (tai) and other saltwater targets, wherever a slow, controllable fall is wanted over structure or bait schools.

How to work it

Fish it on a simple straight retrieve or with active jigging strokes, casting with bottom contact, counting down to a target depth, or varying retrieve speed. Hooks are sold separately.

The setup it likes

Suits a jigging rod rated to around 60g, a 4000 reel, PE 1-1.5 line and a 25-35 lb fluorocarbon leader.

Straight answers

How is it priced?

We give you the cheapest available price, as we get it directly from the distributors. You pay what an angler in Japan pays, plus postage.

When does my order leave Japan?

Orders are packed in Japan and handed to Japan Post within 3 to 8 business days. You get a tracking number by email the moment it ships.

How long does delivery take?

Australia and the US: 7 to 14 business days on Standard or Economy, 2 to 7 on Express EMS. Europe and the UK: 10 to 20 business days, 3 to 7 on EMS. Every option is priced at checkout before you pay.

Will I be charged import duty or tax?

Australia: no duty on orders under A$1,000 and GST is already in the price. US: orders under US$800 clear duty-free. EU and UK: VAT is collected at checkout so nothing is due on delivery for standard orders.

Is it genuine stock?

Yes. Every item is genuine, sourced only through authorised distributors — never grey imports or marketplace resellers.
