The RB99LW keeps the RB99's rolling action and back-mounted-lip profile at 99mm but 5g lighter, giving easier casting on longer rods without giving up much distance.

When to throw it

Suited to shore and rocky-coast seabass fishing, including hirasuzuki worked over exposed rock structure where a long, comfortable cast matters.

How to work it

A straight, low-to-medium speed retrieve with pauses on slack line lets the horizontal fall do the work between casts.

The setup it likes

Suits a M spinning rod built for long casts, a 3000-4000 reel, 10-14 lb braid and a 20-30 lb fluorocarbon leader.
