Siglon PE X8 is Sunline's mainstream eight-strand braided line, woven from eight individual PE strands for a tight, round profile that casts smoothly through guides with minimal friction. It's made in Japan to Sunline's standard spec, sold here in 150m spools across the PE0.8 (12lb) and PE1.0 (16lb) ratings, with a dense weave that keeps diameter low relative to breaking strain and holds up well against abrasion from structure and fish teeth.

Sunline weaves Siglon PE X8 from eight individual strands rather than four, giving a rounder, smoother profile that casts quietly through the guides. The tight weave keeps stretch low, so a lure telegraphs bottom contact and strikes directly back to the rod tip, and the round finish resists fraying against structure and fish teeth better than a flatter four-strand braid.
