Description
The D-Compact FES (Feather Sinking) is a 45mm, 2.0g hard-bodied minnow from Smith, built around a redesigned internal weight system that produces an extremely slow, horizontal feather-fall on the pause rather than a conventional heavy-sinking drop.
It is aimed at shallow trout stream water 30-50cm deep that is normally too risky to fish with heavier sinking minnows, letting anglers work down-drift or up-cross presentations through skinny, snag-prone runs without losing tempo to constant snag avoidance.
