Description

Hikinami HF is the high-float version of Smith's 40mm area trout joint crankbait, released in June 2026. Its curved tail section and joint construction combine to produce a strong wobbling action on a straight retrieve, and the lure also responds to added twitches and stop-and-go rod work. An internal rattle chamber gives an audible attraction cue at both fast and slow retrieve speeds.

At 3.4g, the HF sits higher and slower in the water than the standard Hikinami F, making it suited to shallower or slower presentations, and it is fitted with a Vanfook BC-33F size 8 treble hook. It is offered in fourteen colourways drawn from Smith's official range, matching the Hikinami F line.
