The Bottom Knock Swimmer 41 is the largest model in Smith's Bottom Knock Swimmer range, weighing 6.5g and measuring 41mm. It combines a fast sink rate with inertial swing action, and its extra size makes it easy to cast on light-power tackle over longer distances.

On the retrieve, the tail rides high off the bottom while the lure keeps its footing, producing a bottom-knocking swing that imitates a small fish feeding along the riverbed. A straight retrieve gives a steady side-to-side swimming action, while twitches on slack line trigger sharp, erratic side and vertical swing movements.
