24t+30t carbon blanks give Bayliner AKBM a light, telegraphing feel through Fuji guides, built to register the subtle taps of aji, kisu, bera and mebaru rather than power through them.

What it's built for

A saltwater light-game series for aji, kisu, bera and mebaru around jetties, harbours and light structure, spanning a 7'2" and 8'1" spinning model and an 8'1" bait-finesse casting model.

How it fishes

Suits small jigheads, light plugs and worms fished slow and close to structure, with the bait-finesse model adding pinpoint casting accuracy for tight jetty gaps.

The setup it likes

Pair the spinning models with a 1000-2000 size reel and 2-4lb fluorocarbon, or the bait-finesse model with a shallow-spool baitcaster on PE0.2-0.6 with a light fluorocarbon leader.
