B-AREA FUN (ビーエリアファン) is Smith's light bass rod line for finesse-style smallmouth and general light bass fishing, with a carbon blank, Fuji guides (TCS on baitcasting, DPS on spinning) and an EVA grip.

The BAF- series is the single-piece line: BAF-CG47UL baitcasting (YEL, MNB, FRD) and BAF-SG47UL spinning (MNB).

A carbon blank with an Ultra Light power rating gives B-Area Fun a soft, forgiving load that telegraphs light bites without needing heavy tackle, and Fuji guides (TCS on the baitcaster, DPS on the spinning model) keep the cast smooth on thin line.
