Description

The Shimano Hook Releaser TYPE-U (フックリリーサー TYPE-U) UL-512Y is a 23cm hook-removal tool with a stainless steel head, 5cm longer than Shimano's TYPE-S, for safely handling larger fish. Its tapered tip can approach a hook even when the fish's mouth is closed, and the U-shaped head with a V-shaped slit locks onto the hook - including treble hooks - so it can be pulled free quickly. The ergonomic handle speeds up release, reducing damage to the fish and improving its chances after release.

Available in Silver and Dark Gray, 23cm.
