The World Shaula Technical Edition (ワールドシャウラテクニカルエディション) is Shimano's light-lure technical rod, updated for 2024 with a full-carbon front and rear grip (Full Carbon Monocoque Grip) for added sensitivity, an Aurora Aero Coat finish on the blank that shifts colour with viewing angle, and a new reel-seat ratchet mechanism. Construction uses Spiral X Core and Hi-Power X for torsional and crush strength, CI4+ material, and a hybrid X Guide setup.
