Description

The Babel Z is the glow-finish member of Rob Lure's BABEL series of area trout spoons, sold here at its 1.8g casting weight. It shares the family's official ten-colour glow chart; this listing carries three of those colourways: Orange Glow, Black Glow and Shiitake Glow.

Like the rest of the BABEL line, it's built as a compact area-lake spoon for stocked trout fisheries.

Information

The swimming action

The Babel Z is one of the standard weights in Rob Lure's core Babel series, built around a glow finish chart. Like the rest of the range it works mainly on the fall, fluttering down with a light wobble rather than swimming forward on a straight retrieve.

When to throw it

An area-lake trout spoon for stocked, managed fisheries, useful through the day and especially in low light or overcast conditions where the glow finishes come into their own.

How to work it

Cast and let it sink on a semi-slack line, watching for a take on the drop; a slow figure-of-eight or intermittent twitch-and-pause can extend the presentation once it reaches the target depth.

The setup it likes

Pairs with a light area-trout spinning rod (UL power), a 1000–2000 size reel, and 2–4 lb fluorocarbon or monofilament main line fished direct.

Straight answers

How is it priced?

We give you the cheapest available price, as we get it directly from the distributors. You pay what an angler in Japan pays, plus postage.

When does my order leave Japan?

Orders are packed in Japan and handed to Japan Post within 3 to 8 business days. You get a tracking number by email the moment it ships.

How long does delivery take?

Australia and the US: 7 to 14 business days on Standard or Economy, 2 to 7 on Express EMS. Europe and the UK: 10 to 20 business days, 3 to 7 on EMS. Every option is priced at checkout before you pay.

Will I be charged import duty or tax?

Australia: no duty on orders under A$1,000 and GST is already in the price. US: orders under US$800 clear duty-free. EU and UK: VAT is collected at checkout so nothing is due on delivery for standard orders.

Is it genuine stock?

Yes. Every item is genuine, sourced only through authorised distributors — never grey imports or marketplace resellers.
