Information

The swimming action

The Aji Ringer's ringed body and reverse-taper pintail combine to produce a subtle vibration on the retrieve, built around a bite-sized profile rather than a large kicking action.

When to throw it

Suited to aji and mebaru fishing from harbours, piers and jetties, with several dark-toned glow finishes in the range for a wider range of light conditions after dark.

How to work it

Fish it on a light jig head with a slow, steady retrieve or gentle lift-and-fall; the small, subtle profile suits short-biting or cautious fish.

The setup it likes

A light ajing or mebaru rod matched to a 1–2 g jig head, 2–4 lb PE main line and a short 4–6 lb fluorocarbon leader on a small 1000–2000 size spinning reel.

Straight answers

How is it priced?

We give you the cheapest available price, as we get it directly from the distributors. You pay what an angler in Japan pays, plus postage.

When does my order leave Japan?

Orders are packed in Japan and handed to Japan Post within 3 to 8 business days. You get a tracking number by email the moment it ships.

How long does delivery take?

Australia and the US: 7 to 14 business days on Standard or Economy, 2 to 7 on Express EMS. Europe and the UK: 10 to 20 business days, 3 to 7 on EMS. Every option is priced at checkout before you pay.

Will I be charged import duty or tax?

Australia: no duty on orders under A$1,000 and GST is already in the price. US: orders under US$800 clear duty-free. EU and UK: VAT is collected at checkout so nothing is due on delivery for standard orders.

Is it genuine stock?

Yes. Every item is genuine, sourced only through authorised distributors — never grey imports or marketplace resellers.
