Description

reins' Aji Ring Shaker is a light-salt soft plastic worm with deep body ribs that bite into the water to generate vibration, paired with a plump tail section built to quiver vividly the instant a shake is paused. This 2 inch version measures approximately 51 mm and comes 15 to a pack.

It was developed for technical, shake-and-pause aji fishing on heavily-pressured water, where a plain straight retrieve no longer draws consistent bites — work it with deliberate rod shakes and let the tail's flutter on the pause trigger the take.

Information

The swimming action

The Aji Ring Shaker uses deep body ribs to generate vibration on the retrieve, paired with a plump tail section built to quiver vividly the instant a shake is paused.

When to throw it

Developed for technical, shake-and-pause aji fishing on heavily pressured water, where a plain straight retrieve no longer draws consistent bites.

How to work it

Work it with deliberate rod shakes and let the tail's flutter on the pause trigger the take, rather than fishing it on a steady, uneventful retrieve.

The setup it likes

A light ajing rod matched to a 1–3 g jig head, 2–4 lb PE main line and a short 4–6 lb fluorocarbon leader on a small 2000 size spinning reel.
