The blank

A glass-solid, fully thread-wrapped blank tuned to reproduce the bend of a longbow, biting into a take early and cushioning the fight so hooks stay pinned. Original Model sizes carry a soft mid-bend for delicate bite detection, while Big Game Model sizes use a 7:3 taper with a fast, easy-loading tip over a resilient mid-section and powerful butt.

What it's built for

Original Model sizes cover mixed boat species such as aji, isaki, madai and hirame through to blue-back pelagics on the heavier 100号 model. Big Game Model sizes step up for kihada tuna, kanpachi, kue and hiramasa, with the 190-500 rated for the largest fish and deepest drops.

How it fishes

Fish bait or jigs on the drift with a slow, deliberate lift rather than an active jigging stroke, letting the softer tip telegraph bites before driving the hook home with a firm, unhurried sweep.

The setup it likes

Match lighter Original Model sizes to a small lever-drag or baitcast boat reel on PE2–PE4 with fluorocarbon leader; step up Big Game Model sizes to a large lever-drag reel on PE6–PE10 with heavy fluorocarbon leader.

When does my order leave Japan?

Orders are packed in Japan and handed to Japan Post within 3 to 5 business days. You get a tracking number by email the moment it ships.

How long does delivery take?

10 to 20 business days on Standard (tracked) or Economy, or 3 to 7 business days on Express EMS with tracking and insurance. Every option is priced at checkout before you pay.
