Description

Pinwheel is Palms' dedicated rod series for light saltwater games such as ajing (aji jigging) and mebaring (mebaru fishing). Rather than being sorted by target species, the NEW Pinwheel line is categorized by the rig or method each model is built for, so the series covers a wide range of light-tackle styles.

Rods use Palms' X Carbonology reinforcement, the Tangle Free K Guide system, and skeletal reel seats with separated handle components for light overall weight.

This listing includes the PFGS-56UL (Extra Fast), PFSS-59UL (Solid Fast), PFGS-86UL+ (Super Flex), PFSS-77L (Butt UP Tuned), PFSS-63XUL (Jighead Tune) and PFSS-76UL models.

Information

The blank

Each model in the range is tuned to a different rig or method rather than a single action, from extra-fast and solid-fast tips through to a super-flex model and a longer butt-up-tuned build, all built light with Palms' X Carbonology reinforcement and skeletal reel seats.

What it's built for

Covers a wide spread of light-tackle ajing and mebaring styles, letting an angler pick the model that matches their preferred rig — jighead, float, carolina or straight jig — rather than one universal action.

How it fishes

Suits slow, twitch-based retrieves and subtle rod-tip lifts typical of ajing and mebaring, with the Tangle Free K Guide system keeping light braid running cleanly.

The setup it likes

Pair with a 1000–2000 size spinning reel, PE0.2–0.4 line with a 2–4lb fluorocarbon leader, and light jigheads or small plugs from 0.5–3g.

Straight answers

How is it priced?

We give you the cheapest available price, as we get it directly from the distributors. You pay what an angler in Japan pays, plus postage.

When does my order leave Japan?

Orders are packed in Japan and handed to Japan Post within 3 to 8 business days. You get a tracking number by email the moment it ships.

How long does delivery take?

Australia and the US: 7 to 14 business days on Standard or Economy, 2 to 7 on Express EMS. Europe and the UK: 10 to 20 business days, 3 to 7 on EMS. Every option is priced at checkout before you pay.

Will I be charged import duty or tax?

Australia: no duty on orders under A$1,000 and GST is already in the price. US: orders under US$800 clear duty-free. EU and UK: VAT is collected at checkout so nothing is due on delivery for standard orders.

Is it genuine stock?

Yes. Every item is genuine, sourced only through authorised distributors — never grey imports or marketplace resellers.
