Its kickback (spring-back) performance resists deformation and delivers roughly double the breaking strength of an ordinary snap, staying stable under high-load situations such as fighting large fish or repeated lure changes. The added strength also lets anglers step down to a smaller snap size, drawing out a lure's more natural action.
