Information

The swimming action

On a straight retrieve the 35mm body kicks into a tight, high-frequency wobble that holds even when wound slowly, giving strong water displacement for its size without needing a fast retrieve to stay active.

When to throw it

Suited to Japanese-style eria (managed) ponds and small stocked lakes where area trout sit at a range of depths through the day; useful year-round but especially when fish are holding mid-column or need a bait that keeps working on a dead-slow wind.

How to work it

Cast and wind at a steady, slow-to-medium pace; varying rod height and retrieve speed lets it cover the surface, mid layer or bottom, and short pauses between winds can trigger a following fish.

The setup it likes

Fits a light to ultralight area-trout rod (roughly UL-L power) matched with a small 1000-2000 spinning reel, 2-3 lb (0.4-0.6 go) fluorocarbon or nylon main line and no separate leader needed.

Straight answers

How is it priced?

We give you the cheapest available price, as we get it directly from the distributors. You pay what an angler in Japan pays, plus postage.

When does my order leave Japan?

Orders are packed in Japan and handed to Japan Post within 3 to 8 business days. You get a tracking number by email the moment it ships.

How long does delivery take?

10 to 20 business days on Standard (tracked) or Economy, or 3 to 7 business days on Express EMS with tracking and insurance. Every option is priced at checkout before you pay.

Will I be charged import duty or tax?

VAT is collected at checkout, so there is nothing to pay on delivery for standard orders.

Is it genuine stock?

Yes. Every item is genuine, sourced only through authorised distributors — never grey imports or marketplace resellers.
