A patented asymmetrical prop spins with an irregular, non-metronomic rotation on the retrieve, throwing a realistic splash that mimics baitfish struggling at the surface rather than the steady buzz of a symmetrical propbait.

When to throw it

Calm to lightly rippled water in warm months, around isolated cover, points and shad-heavy flats at dawn and dusk when bass are actively feeding on the surface.

How to work it

Jerks and varied retrieve speed bring out the best of the prop's boil and splash; mix short rips with pauses and change cadence until the fish show a preference, since the irregular rotation is the trigger.

The setup it likes

A 6'6"-7' medium-light to medium topwater rod with a soft tip, 10-14lb braid or 10-12lb fluorocarbon, keeps the small trebles pinned without deadening the prop action.
