Description

Vacuum Ring (バキュームリング) is a Magbite soft plastic worm featuring V-shaped ribs molded into the body that grip the water firmly, sharpening the angler's feel for the rig's action. The body core inside the ribs is designed thin for exceptional softness, and combined with the tail's fine taper this produces an enticing, lifelike motion.

The body uses SAF Material and is infused with a shrimp-garlic scent formula to draw strikes from aji (Japanese horse mackerel) and mebaru (Japanese rockfish). Magbite offers Vacuum Ring in 2in and 2.5in sizes; this listing stocks the 2in size in 4 colourways.

When to throw it

Suited to both aji and mebaru light-game fishing, useful year-round around harbours, breakwaters and lit areas after dark where a subtle, natural presentation is needed.

How to work it

Fish it on a light jig head with slow lifts, twitches or a gentle swim, relying on the fine tail taper for action rather than a fast retrieve.
