Description
Mini-Caro Wire (Mini-Caro Wire) WL-08 is a smaller version of the popular BIWAKO Caro Wire and DECOY Caro Wire, built for light line and spinning tackle. In shallow areas with current it lets anglers easily build a rig that casts long distances even with a light sinker while resisting snags.
The wire uses a nylon coating that is less likely to damage the line if it tangles, loosening weed to avoid stacking while allowing precise presentation in areas a normal light rig can't reach. Being inelastic, it protects the main line from bottom abrasion and transmits bite sensitivity well. It is a very-short type suited to light lines in current or ultra-shallow water, with a sinker-first flight attitude for longer casts; the maker also recommends pairing it with the DS-6 DECOY Sinker type Stick to reduce sinker snagging, and notes it suits river bass fishing.
Wire: #48 (3x7=21 braid, nylon coated). Swivel top: #6x7.
This listing stocks the 3cm size.
