Jackson Tobisugi Daniel Blade 40g

The Tobisugi Daniel Blade 40g is an 83mm metal blade jig from Jackson's Tobisugi Daniel series, built around a spinning blade mounted slightly offset from the tail hook so the two rarely tangle. Separating the blade from the hook keeps drag to a minimum, giving the blade a fast start-up and spin speed, while its rotational resistance tempers the body's wide wobbling action for use at brisker retrieve speeds. The lead body shape has been optimised specifically around the fitted blade, so casting distance isn't compromised. It is rigged with a tail treble plus an additional assist hook set toward the rear of the head, and is fitted with a size #6 hook.

Because the blade catches water as it spins, the lure can be worked like a buzzbait near the surface on a fast retrieve without excessive skipping. The rear assist hook helps reduce missed strikes on short takes, adding extra hook-up security to this fast-retrieve blade jig.
