Description

The Jimmy Imo 2" is a 2-inch soft plastic built from what Jackall describes as the highest specific-gravity material in its history, giving the compact body a weight of approximately 6g. That density means it can be fished comfortably on spinning tackle as well as bait finesse tackle, without needing extra weight added.

Its centre-balance design keeps the body's weight set at the worm's midpoint, so it falls horizontally and without wobble from the moment it lands. This lets it approach a target spot accurately, making it a precise tool for working tight cover such as reed edges and vertical structure.

Information

The swimming action

A centre-balanced, high specific-gravity body falls horizontally and without wobble from the moment it lands, letting it drop accurately onto a precise target spot without drifting off line or catching current.

When to throw it

Suited to working tight cover such as reed edges and vertical structure where a precise, wobble-free fall is needed to place the bait exactly where bass are holding tight to cover.

How to work it

Pitch or flip it to the target and let it fall on a slack line; its density lets it be fished on spinning tackle as well as bait finesse gear without extra added weight.

The setup it likes

A light spinning or bait finesse rod, a 2500 size reel or small baitcaster and 6-8lb fluorocarbon suit this bait's precise, unweighted fall around tight cover, reed edges and vertical structure.
