Description

The 25 BIN-BIN STICK VCM (25 BIN-BIN STICK VCM) applies a "low elasticity setting" concept, blending glass and carbon composite materials for what Jackall's site calls "flexibility with sharpness." A roughly 15% weight reduction comes from a slimmer blank diameter, while the rod keeps the pliable action that absorbs current resistance and the powerful head shakes of large sea bream during dotera drifting.

Two models make up the range: BSV-C511UL (5'11", Ultra Light) and BSV-C68ML (6'8", Medium Light), both rated to a dotera max of 300g and PE #1.5 line.

Information

The blank

A 'low elasticity setting' blend of glass and carbon composite gives flexibility with sharpness: roughly 15% lighter than a standard tubular blank, while keeping a pliable action that absorbs current resistance and a big sea bream's head shakes.

What it's built for

Dotera-drift tairaba fishing for large sea bream, rated to a 300g dotera sinker weight.

How it fishes

Work a tai-rubber jig on a lift-and-fall retrieve through the drift, letting the softer blank cushion sudden headshakes once a large fish is hooked.

The setup it likes

Pairs with a small-to-mid tairaba baitcast reel, PE1.5 braid and a fluorocarbon leader suited to large red sea bream.
