Information

The swimming action

The Bakusoku Shad is a shad-tail soft plastic worm that kicks with a steady tail thump on the retrieve and flutters down through the water column on the fall.

When to throw it

A general-purpose largemouth bass bait suited to weedy margins, laydowns and open water where a swimming presentation is needed.

How to work it

Fish it on a steady swimming retrieve on a jighead or worm hook, varying speed to find the day's preferred tail beat; let it fall on a semi-slack line between pulls.

The setup it likes

Suits a medium-power baitcasting or spinning rod, low-profile baitcaster or 2500-3000 reel, 12-16lb fluorocarbon or braid with a fluorocarbon leader.

Straight answers

How is it priced?

We give you the cheapest available price, as we get it directly from the distributors. You pay what an angler in Japan pays, plus postage.

When does my order leave Japan?

Orders are packed in Japan and handed to Japan Post within 3 to 8 business days. You get a tracking number by email the moment it ships.

How long does delivery take?

Australia and the US: 7 to 14 business days on Standard or Economy, 2 to 7 on Express EMS. Europe and the UK: 10 to 20 business days, 3 to 7 on EMS. Every option is priced at checkout before you pay.

Will I be charged import duty or tax?

Australia: no duty on orders under A$1,000 and GST is already in the price. US: orders under US$800 clear duty-free. EU and UK: VAT is collected at checkout so nothing is due on delivery for standard orders.

Is it genuine stock?

Yes. Every item is genuine, sourced only through authorised distributors — never grey imports or marketplace resellers.
